The Freecycle Network a nonprofit grassroots movement made up of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns.
Made up of 4,252 groups with 4,488,000 members across the globe,
The Freecycle Network harnesses the power of e-mail to connect people with things they want to throw away with others who can use those thing.
It’s all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills.
Each local group is moderated by a local volunteer, any member of the community can post an item they’d like to give away, or an item they are seeking.
Membership is free, and everything posted must be free, legal and appropriate for all ages.
